Donations and Your Finances

Donations are a great way to give back to your community and causes that are important to you.

Contributions made to a qualified charity (recognized by the IRS as eligible to receive tax-deductible donations) may be eligible for a tax break. Individuals over 70.5 years old are also allowed to make Qualified Charitable Distributions from specific retirement plan accounts as a way to avoid paying unnecessary taxes.
